SigTrax Changes

To meet the needs and expectations of our users the following changes are being made to SigTrax.

  • TraxTeam
    • The SigTrax+ TraxTeam feature has been discontinued. This will allow us to focus resources into areas that are more interesting for our users.
    TraxTeam may resurface in the future.
    If you have an active subscription (neither Apple or Google make it easy for us to determine), please request a full refund and thank you.
  • DataTrax
    • The price of the DataTrax dongle has been reduced. Please see the store section for details.
    The in-app purchase price for DataTrax has been reduced.
  • SigShare
    • The in-app purchase price for SigShare has been reduced.

We believe making these changes are in the best interest of out users and we thank you for making SigTrax your signal tracking toolkit.

As always, your suggestions, comments and criticisms are appreciated.

New features and changes to SigTrax

  • Improvements
    • Performance enhancements.
    • Improved bearing selection icons - Thanks SpaceX and Dragon.
    • Bug fixes especially with the Android bearing keypad.
  • Named bearings for SigShare displays
  • Crosspoints calculated on selected bearings.
  • Landscape display orientation options.
  • SigShare enhancements for better item selection and displays.
  • DataTrax
    • Support added for Doppler Systems DDF7000. DataTrax dongle not required.
    • Support for external electronic compass. Tested with KVH C100 only.
    • Single bearing add button when displaying bearings as vectors.
  • Improved menu selection for Android devices.

The Landscape option and named bearings were suggested by SigTrax users. Thank you for your suggestions, comments and criticisms.

New Features in SigTrax

  • Notes for Archives and TraxTeams
    • Create and save tracking notes for archived bearings and TraxTeams.
    Traxteam Notes are device only and not shared between TraxTeam members.
  • Toolbar button changes
    • Pressing the Location button homes the map to your current location while preserving your Zoom setting.
    • Long pressing the Location button homes the map to your current location and resets the Zoom to the default.
    • Pressing the True North compass value closes any open Crosspoint markers on the map.
    • Long pressing the True North compass value displays information about your your current location.
  • Improved Store experience
    • The SigTrax+ Store page has been redesigned to provide more information and be simplier and easier to use.
  • New core engine
    • The SigTrax core engine has been revised for greater performance and to provide a platform for future enhancements.

Notes was suggested by a SigTrax user. We are always looking for new suggestions from our users as well as comments or criticisms.

Corrects a few minor problems with SigTrax for IOS and adds full support for IOS 12.

Corrects a problem with the SigTrax+ feature TraxTeam where after purchase access to TraxTeam is prevented with a "Expired Subscription" message.

If the problem persist, please go to Information->Store and press the refresh button.

Unfamiliar with TraxTeam? Or DataTrax and SigShare? These are new, optional features of SigTrax called SigTrax+, our way of improving SigTrax without resorting to Pro versions and fogetting the basics as many other do.

Become a better tracker with SigTrax and SigTrax+. Look for SigTrax+ on this site.

Welcome to SigTrax 2.0 for Android and IOS, now with SigTrax+.

Thank you for your patience while we developed this release which we believe will advance signal tracking to a new and higher level.

  • Archives
    • Archives no longer list crosspoint count.
  • Bearings
    • New for Android. Create bearing by pressing any map point.
    • Bearing length and Crosspoint determination based on Settings.
    • Bearings replotted when Crosspoint Max distance changed in settings.
    • Selected bearing highlighted on map.
    • Select bearings to be displayed and included in Crosspoint determination or deleted in mass.
    • Edit bearing starting coordinates and heading.
    • Edit bearings including single button 180 degree heading reverse.
    • Keypad entry for manual bearing addition or bearing edits.
  • Crosspoints
    • Crosspoints recalculated when crosspoint min and max changed in settings or bearing changed by editing.
  • Map
    • Two finger map or guideline rotation.
    • Zoom settings respected.
  • Settings
    • Reorganized and improved.
  • Sigtrax+
    • DataTrax    Import bearing heading from Doppler systems.
